Full Time Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey
We are offering a two year, competitively salaried post-doctoral fellowship at Rutgers CINJ. Qualified candidates should have a PhD in Clinical, Counseling, Social, Experimental, Health, or Biobehavioral Health Psychology or a PsyD. The post-doc will be able to work closely with one or two faculty members on manuscripts from three psychotherapy studies with cancer patients and their family members (first authorship is encouraged), assist with the delivery of behavioral interventions, ands supervision of psychotherapy process coders. The post-doc will also be able to work directly on grant applications, and attend seminars across the Rutgers Campus, and will be able to be mentored by a senior principal investigator as well as another investigator in the Cancer Prevention and Control Program. Rutgers CINJ is located in New Brunswick, but is close to Manhattan and the greater New York/Philadelphia area, so commuting is possible to CINJ.
Qualified candidates should have publications and interest in health psychology and/or psycho-oncology, as well as at least one manuscript already published. Ability to write as well as familiarity with basic statistics is necessary.
