Events: The Process of Design and Implementation of a Diversity Management Program Presented by the Los Angeles Organizational Psychology Program

Dr. Shlomit Cohen is an organizational psychologist with over 10 years of experience specializing in change management, project management, communications strategies/plans, training, teams and leadership development.  She has been working at DeVry Medical International (DMI) for the last seven years as a change/project manager. Prior to this current position, Dr. Cohen worked as an organizational development consultant within a wide range of businesses and industries such as Farmers Insurance Group, Northrop Grumman and Singapore Airlines. She prides herself on the ability to manage projects and implement change that drives productivity and efficiency, while maintaining excellent relationships with team members and key stakeholders. In addition to working for DMI, Dr. Cohen also works as an online adjunct instructor for DeVry’s Liberal Arts undergraduate program.  Dr. Cohen’s educational background includes a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA, a Masters Certificate in Project Management from DeVry (Keller School of Management & Leadership), and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology.  She has authored publications on diversity/conflict resolution, positive change and work-life balance.
