SAN DIEGO Calif. -- Feb. 21, 2013 -- Congratulations to CSFS Sacramento Student Dana Anderson, who was awarded a 2012 “20 Under 40” leadership award for founding “Voices,” a national advocacy group that shares the stories of survivors of family violence in community settings. A survivor of stalking herself, Anderson began "Voices" in an effort to create positive change and awareness of the critical issues of all types of violence.

"20 Under 40" award recipients are chosen for "leaving an imprint on the Redding area through their professional and philanthropic efforts. People nominated for this program show initiative, innovation and leadership that contribute to business and community success." The awards are presented by The Record Searchlight, a newspaper focused on Redding, CA and sponsored by Simpson University and US Bank.
