Counseling (MFCC) Assistant Professor Job Opening

This position will be for a tenure-track, academic year position as an assistant Professor in Marriage, Family, and child Counseling/Marriage & Family Therapy with a focus on preparing graduate students for a Master of Science Degree in Counseling. The successful candidate will teach graduate students at the master’s degree level; supervise practicum and fieldwork experiences; advise students in master’s project, thesis work, or comprehensive examination as a culminating experience; conduct research; and engage in community/service-related activities.

Required Experience:

1) Experience in the practice of Marriage & Family Therapy/Counseling

2) Licensed or eligible for licensure as a marriage & family therapist in the State of California

3) Ability to demonstrate a commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
