Job Description

Pending approval, the Department of Psychology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, seeks outstanding candidates for a Coordinator of Clinical Training in its APA-accredited Clinical Science doctoral program.  This is a full-time non-tenure track Lecturer III faculty position within the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts beginning in Winter term, 2015.  The Coordinator of Clinical Training will have both teaching and administrative responsibilities. Teaching is expected to include a four-course load, including graduate lab courses in Adult and Child Assessment, Integration of Clinical Science and Practice, Practicum in Clinical Psychology, and an upper level undergraduate course.  Administrative responsibilities include overseeing all graduate student practicum training, serving as a liaison between the clinical program and external practicum placement sites, and facilitating clinical research connections between the clinical program and practicum training sites.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from an APA-approved program with an APA accredited internship, be at least 2 years post-degree, and be licensed or license-eligible in Michigan. We seek candidates whose orientation and experiences integrate well with our University of Michigan clinical science training model.
