Immediate Opening for Behavioral Health Faculty Member

The Department of Family Medicine, Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University seeks an innovative full-time junior faculty member for its developing Integrated Care Program. This is a transformative department, implementing Patient-Centered Care in all aspects of education, teaching, and research. 

The successful candidate will function as a member of the research and program development team in the Center for Integrated Care Delivery focused on the implementation and conduct of a new program: TeleTEAM Care: Bringing the healthcare team to needy diabetic patients in underserved communities.

The successful candidate will join other members of the Project Team within our new state-of-the-art Family Medicine Center. This position offers the appropriate candidate the opportunity for clinical program research, model development, dedicated teaching, and provision of clinical services within a comprehensive integrated health setting. This is a fixed term faculty position at the title of Assistant Professor.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Minimum qualifications include a completion of appropriate Doctoral Program (PhD) leading to current North Carolina license or eligibility as a Psychologist and Health Service Provider Psychologist, Provisionally Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional in a related field in the State of North Carolina. Previous experience in Integrated Primary Care Settings, Ambulatory and Tertiary Medical Settings, and clinical practice addressing physical and behavioral co-morbidities preferred.
