Adventures in Political Psychology: What Does Your Vote Mean? with Dr. Jon Krosnick
Nov. 2, 2012 | 6-8:30 PM | Green Hall
Attend an evening with Stanford University Professor Jon Krosnick, who for 30 years has studied the forces that drive political thinking and action in America. What leads some people to vote and others not? What leads people to select the candidates they choose? How does the news media influence people’s choices? Does racism influence vote choices? What happens cognitively and behaviorally when a citizen becomes passionate about a particular issue? Krosnick will introduce the integrative field of political psychology and discuss how it helps us better understand contemporary events.
Wine and Cheese reception begins at 6 PM, with the program beginning at 6:30 PM. Professional 2.5 Hrs | CE Certificate $35
