Adult Track Clinical Postdoctoral Fellowship – University of Michigan Health Systems

The University of Michigan Health Systems (UMHS), Division of Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology (RPN) in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) is acceptingapplications for a two-year Adult Track Clinical Postdoctoral Fellowship to start September 2014. The fellowship conforms to APA Division 22 guidelines and includes core topic didactics in neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology. Fellows rotate on the inpatient PM&R neurological, general and spinal cord injury services. These primary assignments are complemented by concurrent outpatient rotations stressing comprehensive neuropsychological assessment, and psychotherapy with rehabilitation populations, as well as inpatient Consult/Liaison rotations serving patients in other related UMHS acute and critical care settings.According to the fellows’ interests, a minor rotation may be negotiated in Chronic Pain/Health Psychology. Clinical RPN fellows receive comprehensive supervision and mentoring of their clinical work, preparation of presentations, and career planning. Involvement in ongoing research programs is encouraged on a limited basis. Program graduates are expected to pursue a career in some aspect of rehabilitation psychology/neuropsychology. Applicants should have completed all requirements for a PhD or PsyD from an accredited doctoral program and be eligible for a limited license in Michigan.
