Bachelor of Science - Business Administration
Our Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program prepares students for a wide variety of professional careers in business, management, public affairs and for graduate study. Our goal is to train the managers and leaders of tomorrow.
In this program, you will learn skills to effectively practice your profession in global and intercultural environments. And, we'll teach you to lead with cultural sensitivity, integrity and compassion. The curriculum provides a strong foundation in fundamental topics, such as management, finance, research and project management. You will understand all aspects of businesses and organizations and how they connect.
Hands-on, Professional Experience
Every course in the Business Administration bachelor’s program includes hands-on, experiential and project-based learning. In your senior year, you’ll take two courses that immerse you in professional practice. One is the Capstone course, where you will work directly with an organization to apply what you’ve learned in your classes to create a comprehensive, professional project such as case analysis, business plan or portfolio. You will also complete a supervised internship experience in the Professional Practice Intensive course. In this course you gain concrete skills that prepare you for the job market.
Pathway to an MBA
Organizations are growing more complex every day. You can prepare for these challenges and achieve more in your career by advancing your education. Our Business Administration bachelor's program is designed to give you a head start on your MBA—a master's in Business Administration.
Four required courses in the bachelor's program are also required in the MBA program. This means you can apply these four courses to your MBA program, and you will only need to take eight classes to earn your MBA rather than usual 12. These courses can be completed in as few as two semesters. Many who follow this pathway are eligible for a scholarship of up to $2,000.
