Alliant Connect Online Community Continues to Grow: Meet Member 625

 
 

Systemwide, May 4, 2007  — It’s been two months since Alliant launched its online community and already an impressive 633 members have signed on, created profiles and began networking with fellow alumni. Since priority sign-up expired on April 15, all Alliant students, faculty and staff havevbeen able to take part in this amazing networking, career-building and outreach effort.

Meet Member 625, United States International University Graduate Neil M. Kuritzky

New member 625, Neil M. Kuritzky, graduated from United States International University in San Diego with an MBA in 1984. Mr. Kuritzky lives in Irvine, California where he works as a Professor at Webster University. He also works as a consultant.

Prior to coming to USIU, he received his Bachelors in Commerce with dual majors, Accounting and Economics, from Cape Technicon in South Africa.

Mr. Kuritzky has given numerous lectures and workshops for the Department of Commerce as well as for organizations such as the Centers for International Trade Development, World Trade Center Association, International Marketing Association and Inland Empire international Business Association. He has taught at several other California schools as well as in China.

He enjoys hiking and, in 2005, was an advising member of Team CyberRider, a non-profit made up of volunteer experienced engineers and software professionals dedicated to building an autonomous vehicle to compete in the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Challenge.

“Memories that stand out include parties on campus on Friday nights when I was trying to study for exams the next day and the many international students that I met from all over the world that made the USIU experience so much richer,” said Kuritzky.
