Alliant International University Welcomes Glen C. Mueller to its Board of Trustees

San Diego, March 1, 2007  —Alliant International University’s Board of Trustees welcomed new member Glen C. Mueller. Mueller is currently Chief Audit & Compliance Officer for Scripps Health in San Diego where he holds the dual role of Chief Audit Executive and Corporate Compliance Officer for this $1.5 billion integrated health care system.

He received his BS and MBA degrees from Cornell University. His previous positions include VP Audit Services at UCSF-Stanford Health Care System, Chief Information Officer for Stanford University, Director of Internal Audit at Stanford University and Medical Center and Director of Internal Audit at Cornell University and Medical Center.

With over 25 years of experience and knowledge in the fields of audit, compliance and information systems management, Mueller brings his expertise to Alliant’s Board of Trustees. He has co-chaired the HCCA-AHIA Auditing & Monitoring Focus Group and has served the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors Board of Directors. Glen is a frequent speaker and workshop leader at Institute of Internal Audit and AHIA conferences and has published articles in HCCA’s Compliance Today magazine.

He is a certified public accountant, internal auditor, information systems auditor and information security manager. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, Information Systems Audit and Control Association, Health Care Compliance Association, and the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors, of which he was a Board Member form 2003-2004.
