Renowned Author and Business Leader Susan K. Gehrke to Present at Feb. 15th Isolabella Lecture in San Diego: Open to Public
San Diego, January 29, 2007 — On Thursday, February 15, Susan K. Gerke of Gerke Consulting & Development and author of “Quick Guide to Interaction Styles and Working Remotely” will present “If I Can’t See ‘Em, How Can I Lead ‘Em?” at Alliant’s Pomerado Road campus in San Diego. Susan has been in business since 1998, following 21 years working as a manager for IBM. Her focus since 1989 has been designing, customizing and implementing leadership and teamwork programs meeting the needs of executives, managers, and employees in a wide number of companies and industries. Her clients include Bank of the West, City of Anaheim, Experian, Irvine Public Schools Foundation, KPMG, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Capital Group, and Warner Bros. Susan is the co-author of "The I in Team … Accelerating the Performance of Remote and Co-Located Teams." This will mark the fifteenth annual presentation in The Isolabella Lectures on Social Psychology and Leadership, launched in 1993, by a doctoral student in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, M. Cristina Isolabella, from Milan, Italy. Past presenters include authors Margaret J. Wheatley, Geoffrey Bellman, Philip R. Harris and Alliant Provost Dr. Rodney Lowman.
