Aug. 2006 - Dr. Craig Brewer Named Alliant Dean of Students

 Irvine, CA - August 15, 2006 – Dr. Craig Brewer has been named systemwide Dean of Students at Alliant International University.

For the past four years Dr. Brewer has served ably as Director of Campus and Student Services at Alliant’s Irvine campus, overseeing major improvements in that operation in enrollments and in student services. His prior jobs include service as Counselor in several locations and types of settings, President of the Graduate Counseling Students Association at CSU-Fullerton and Academic Advisor in the Department of Human Services at CSU-Fullerton. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Human Services at CSU-Fullerton since 2002.

Dr. Brewer holds a BS in Human Services and a MS in Counseling from CSU-Fullerton and the EdD degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of LaVerne. He also holds Drug and Alcohol and Mediation Certificates.

The Dean of Students is responsible for creating, overseeing and implementing many of our student services systemwide, for coordinating policies affecting students with both the academic and staff sides of the house, and for being an advocate and spokesperson for student issues throughout the University.
