Graduate School of Education announces TeachersCHOICE programs

San Diego, April 15, 2006 - Alliant International University has just created TeachersCHOICE, three different programs that will give you a choice of paths toward earning a California teacher's credential. If you want to teach, one of these programs is sure to fit your schedule and interests.

The three options within the TeachersCHOICE program are:

• a traditional teacher preparation program
• a standard intern program, and
• the early completion option (ECO) program.

The Early Completion Option is an alternative credentialing route that allows candidates who pass the state’s Teaching Foundations Exam to enter the classroom as paid teachers, bypass most traditionally required education coursework, earn a credential in nine months, and benefit from an intensive mentoring support system.
