- 2007 – Present Founder and Co-director of the San Diego Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy (see www.sdeft.us).
- 2005 – Present Systemwide Director, MFT Graduate Programs, Alliant International University. Responsible for all aspects of both the MFT masters and doctoral programs including leadership of 20 full-time and approximately 35 part-time and adjunct faculty, curriculum development, program promotion, admissions, doctoral exams, dissertations, and clinical training programs for approximately 350 MFT graduate students in San Diego, Irvine, and Sacramento, California, and Mexico City, Mexico.
- 1996-2005 Director, MFT Graduate Programs, Alliant International University (United States International University until 2001). Responsible for all aspects of both the MFT masters and doctoral programs including leadership of 20 faculty, curriculum development, program promotion, admissions, doctoral exams, dissertations, and clinical training programs for over 250 MFT graduate students in San Diego and Irvine, California. Led efforts to revise and upgrade all aspects of the programs. Primary author of self-studies and leader of successful 2001 bid for COAMFTE accreditation for the masters and doctoral programs. Recruited and secured a faculty position for family therapy founder Jay Haley and an affiliation with EFT founder Susan Johnson. Teach, supervise, and conduct research.
