| Biography As the Assistant Superintendent for Planning, Research, Evaluation and Policy Development in the Oakland Unified School District, Dr. Adwere-Boamah has been instrumental in developing and implementing the plan for reorganization of the District as a mission-driven organization. He is an original member of the Oakland Education Cabinet, which includes leaders from business, education, government and community organizations. Dr. Adwere-Boamah is a member of the Council of Great City Schools, a national group involved in shaping federal policy on education issues that reflect the needs of urban schools, such as distribution of federal resources, Title I, Bilingual Programs and dissemination of good practices. Dr. Adwere-Boamah has a foundation of solid methodological training in quantitative methods (statistics, measurement and program evaluation), organizational theory, policy and school administration.
