Professional Activities - After a long and distinguished career in the military, Sullivan joined the world of academia. He has lived and worked in Japan, Europe, and Vietnam, and traveled extensively throughout Scandinavia.
- He also worked as part of an international staff at NATO with people from many different countries, and had a great deal of cross-cultural professional and social interaction.
- Sullivan is also the president of Leadership Excellence Association, an independent management consulting firm.
