Specialties and Research Interests

  • The visual and cognitive brain: Perceptual, cognitive and developmental neuroscience; clinical electrophysiology; inferring neural structure from individual differences; perceptual and cognitive neuroscience in the service of clinical psychology
  • Integrative psychology: Ancient contemplative practices--the clinical, perceptual, cognitive, and neural implications. Mindfulness, yoga, meditation.  
  • Phantom limbs and pain: Sensory and cognitive interventions
  • Light therapy for depression (more of an interest than a specialty...)
  • Behavioral, cognitive, interpersonal and transpersonal psychotherapies
