About Los Angeles Campus

The 650 students at Alliant's Los Angeles campus are enrolled in graduate programs within the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), Center for Forensic Studies (CFS), Graduate School of Education (GSOE), and the Marshal Goldsmith School of Management (MGSM).

The psychology, forensics, and organizational psychology students primarily attend classes during the day; most of the education students are enrolled in evening classes. The average class size at the campus is about 15 students.

Students come from all over the nation and globe, making the Los Angeles campus as diverse as the surrounding community. Most of our students are from California, but some other states and countries largely represented include Tennessee, Hawaii, Kentucky, New Mexico, Massachusetts, Ohio, Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Arizona, and Latvia, UK, Canada, Argentina, China, Iran, Israel, Mexico, South Korea. Our student population is very diverse, with an average age range from twenty-one to fifty-six and the student population approximately 80 percent women and 20 percent men.

Student Groups & Clubs

The Los Angeles campus also has active students clubs which range from ethnic and cultural groups to social clubs and academic honor societies. Some of the ethnic, cultural, and student groups you can join are:

Student Publications

The Alliant students have access to several publications across the campuses. The PsychE is a local Los Angeles campus newsletter, which is published by the Student Services Coordinator twice a term. The Envoy is the student produced newspaper of Alliant International University. This paper represents the systemwide Alliant community and is distributed at all campuses. All newspaper staff members and guest contributors of the Envoy can be reached at envoy.alliant@gmail.com. Students at all campuses can contribute articles to the Envoy by emailing the above contact address.

The Student Information Newsletter is an informative publication by the administration, published three times a year, covering system-wide student services, which include student deadlines.

Student Housing Information

The students of the Los Angeles campus live all around the Los Angeles and Orange County area. Many share apartments and/or commute together. The campus is a commuter facility and does not have associated housing. However, there is housing information available to students who are looking for roommates and/or housing accommodations.
