Among the safest cities in the America, Irvine boasts a strong base of technology industries along with a wealth of community entertainment, recreation and educational resources. It’s home to a highly rated public school system and a University of California campus, as well Alliant’s own campus.

An hour south of Los Angeles and conveniently accessible to two major freeways and the John Wayne Airport, Irvine is one of the nation's largest planned urban communities and encompasses more than 55 square miles. Incorporated in 1971, Irvine has a young population. Only 12.7 percent was over 55 in 1990, but by 2020, that percentage will almost double. 

Irvine is within easy driving distance of beautiful Corona Del Mar and the sun drenched sand of Laguna Beach and Newport Beach. It's a perfect location for those who enjoy water sports or beachcombing with a good novel - or even a textbook!

Even closer at hand is an extensive system nature preserves, wilderness parks and trails that offers get-aways to hikers, bicyclists, equestrians and photographers. When completed the city's 20-square mile park system will be the largest publicly owned open space system for any city of comparable size in California.
