Online MA in Education, Teaching Emphasis Our innovative Master of Arts in Education: Teaching degree program is offered in a 100% online format. Other Online CoursesIf you do not intend to earn a degree at Alliant (or don't have the necessary prerequisites for admission to a degree program) you may apply as a Special Status Non-Degree student, and take other Alliant courses online.*

Additional Requirements Some classes may require special permission from the Department before processing and admitting a non-degree seeking student. Please contact the Admissions Processing Center at 1-866-U-Alliant or via email at admissions@alliant.edu for questions concerning specific requirement.
*A student who is classified as Special Status Non-Degree may be requested to submit supporting documentation. From this admission status, a student may apply for full admission to the University through the regular admission process. If the student becomes a degree-seeking student, a maximum of 12 semester units (undergraduate) earned while in the Special Status Non-Degree category may be applied toward a degree program.
Special Status Non-Degree students are not eligible for financial aid or institutional aid. In cases where class space is limited, degree-seeking students will have enrollment priority.
An I-20 may not be issued to international students for the Special Status Non-Degree category. International Students are not eligible for Special Status unless they have special permissions from the Department.
