Dr. Fred Heide's class; photo by Su EversAs part of Alliant International University's mission to broaden and strengthen the roles of psychologists and to serve the psychological needs of our demographically changing society, Alliant-Continuing Education (CE) offers accredited continuing education programs to its alumni/ae and professionals in the community. Continuing education programs address current mental health issues, fulfill mandatory California Board of Psychology licensure requirements, and are designed to help psychologists and other health service providers keep pace in the rapidly changing professional environment.

The Continuing Education Division sponsors a variety of program emphases including specialized practice considerations for ethnic minority populations, family systems perspectives, theory and techniques in health psychology, organizational culture and consultation, feminist perspectives in psychodynamic and systems theory, and innovations in psychological assessment. The division also sponsors programs which enhance more effective psychotherapeutic interventions and organizational consultation. Programs are offered at sites throughout California, but primarily in association with the four Alliant campuses. Information on continuing education programs may be obtained by contacting:
