The thought leader team project began on the San Diego Campus during the 2005-06 academic year and will this year expand to include Alliant's Los Angeles, San Francisco and Fresno Campuses.

In July, Dr. Goldsmith held a gathering at his house in Rancho Santa Fe where students, staff, and faculty were invited to meet and socialize with Dr. Gary Ranker, John Assaraf, and Steve Rogers, president of Prudential Realty.

The thought leader project is a tremendous opportunity for students to meet and network with some of the most brilliant minds in the world that goes above and beyond simply studying their work in the classroom. Most of the Thought Leaders are personal friends and colleagues of Dr. Goldsmith and they have graciously accepted to form an alliance with Alliant (hence the name) and the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management. This will aid in the school’s branding and reputability as a unique institution as well as foster potentially long-lasting relationships with the Thought Leaders that will likely inspire and foster research and contributions within the Alliant community.

Currently, the list of Thought Leaders includes:

  1. Beverly Kaye- career development, mentoring, and talent management specialist
  2. Brian Tracy- leadership, sales, managerial effectiveness and business strategy specialist
