Psychology (BA) - Southwestern College campus
Program Overview To complete your bachelor’s degree, come to Alliant where more than one-third of California’s licensed psychologists are trained. The newly-designed degree completion program allows you to specialize in one or more of three concentrations - including Clinical Psychology, Industrial Organizational Psychology, and Marriage and Family Therapy. Each concentration leads to immediate career opportunities as well as to a streamlined transition into a graduate program. The BA completion program also provides opportunities to take graduate-level courses while you are still an undergraduate. This program is located on Alliant's "University within a College" on Southwestern College campus in Chula Vista.
| Deciding what to do with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology can be a bit challenging. I feel that being on a small campus here at Alliant International University, I was afforded the luxury of being able to talk to many professors and graduate students about their experiences. I quickly learned that the faculty in the graduate clinical psychology program was superb.
Since my Bachelor's degree I have come a long way; I have completed my Master’s degree in clinical psychology and within two more years hope to complete my doctorate degree. Again, because Alliant is a small campus, I was able to network and make many connections, including working for a professor as a psychology assistant.
