IPMH CERTIFICATES OVERVIEW

INFANT-PRESCHOOLER MENTAL HEALTH GRADUATE CERTIFICATES

The California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University is offering integrated, interdisciplinary training in the highly specialized field of infant preschooler mental health. There is a critical need for professionals who can support, evaluate, intervene early, and treat the mental health needs of young children and their families in many settings, including primary health care, early care and education, foster care, and home-visiting services. California has developed a comprehensive system of guidelines for the mental health training of all providers who work with infants and very young children and their families - the Infant-Family/Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement. Alliant’s IPMH Certificates are based on and exceed these guidelines.

The Ecosystemic approach to Infant-Preschooler Mental Health is developmentally organized, relationship-focused, strength-based, and contextually grounded in the child’s ecosystem.
