Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Graduate Certificate: San Diego, Irvine, Fresno and Online |
This certificate program - offered on Alliant's San Diego, Irvine and Fresno Campuses and online - provides students the knowledge and skills needed to effectively teach English as a Second Language (ESL) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL). Students who enroll in this program include not only teachers and other educators, but also professionals from airlines, travel, and business who want to gain the skills needed to communicate to and teach speakers of other languages.
The TESOL Graduate Certificate is designed for those who are seeking advanced skills in ESL/EFL in a shorter time period than required by the master's degree. It consists of five 3-unit courses that may also be counted towards the TESOL master's degree and may complete in 9-12 months. Applicants must satisfy all master's degree admissions requirements.
