Readmission

Welcome back to Alliant International University (formerly United States International University)! We are glad that you are thinking about returning to Alliant to complete your degree!

• If it has been longer than two semesters since you attended Alliant (or USIU), you will need to reapply. This can be done by applying online. You will need to indicate that you previously attended Alliant on the application. If you have attended any other colleges and/or universities since you’ve left Alliant, you will need to submit official transcripts from those schools to the Admissions Office. Once your application is complete, we will e-mail you with a transfer evaluation, which will show which classes you have remaining to complete your degree, and an estimate of how long it should take to finish.
• If it has only been one semester since you left, you will simply need to contact your academic advisor Rebecca Nieboer (rnieboer@alliant.edu) about coming back to complete your degree at Alliant.
• If you are on an official Leave of Absence, you will just need to contact your academic advisor Rebecca Nieboer (rnieboer@alliant.edu) about your plans to return.

Please note: If you are an international student who wants to return to the U.S. to complete your degree at Alliant, please contact International Student Services to ensure that your international documents are up-to-date.
