Current Positions/Projects

  • Practicum position at California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation: Parole Outpatient Unit. Provides group and individual therapy to sexual offenders and completing psychological/neuropsychological testing with parolees.
  • Will begin pre-doctoral internship at Southern Youth Correctional Reception Center and Clinic in July 2008.

Research Interests

  • Evaluating the validity of M-PULSE, a tool designed for use in police officer selection. Will present findings at the International Association of Forensic Mental Health Services Conference, in Vienna, Austria (July 2008).
  • Examining the effectiveness and appropriateness of current sexual offender laws.

  • Current practicum is at Pasadena Rehabilitation Institute under the staff neuropsychologist.
  • Pre-doctoral internship will be at Sharper Future working with sex and drug offenders
