Infant-Preschooler Mental Health Certificates
CSPP at Alliant is offering two certificates in Infant-Preschooler Mental Health. Both are for post-graduate mental health practitioners as well as graduate students engaged in a program of study leading to a clinical practice degree. Designed for adult learners who are working full-time, courses typically meet on evenings and weekends. Continuing education credit through Alliant for psychologists, MFTs, LCSWs and RNs has been approved for each course. Some courses also meet play therapy continuing education credit.

- Typically a cohort of professionals takes the classes together, thereby learning collaboratively while contributing insights from their own experience
- Classes may be taken separately except where pre-requisites are noted
- Note that several classes require outside reading and assignments
- Tuition does not include cost of books
- Payment plans and loans for CE coursework may be arranged
- Biopsychosocial Factors in IPMH is offered as an online web-based class only.
- All other classes are offered on a regular basis at the Alliant campuses in Fresno, Los Angeles, Sacramento and San Diego (typically weekends and evenings)
- Cohorts in other areas will be developed based on interest & instructor availability – contact Dr. Sue Ammen, Program Coordinator, to express an interest or for more information about developing cohorts.
Some outside classes or workshops may be substituted for IPMH classes, but are evaluated on a case-by-case basis (contact Dr. Sue Ammen). However, no coursework will be substituted for any part of the two Fundamentals classes, as they are each an integrated curriculum experience.
