Summary: The Division of Business and Management in the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management at Alliant International University invites applications for a core faculty position beginning Spring 2008 or as soon as possible thereafter. Candidates for the position must have an earned doctorate. Named for the most successful executive coach in the world today, the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management is reinventing management education by preparing graduates to work immediately and effectively in complex, globalized organizations. What makes the Goldsmith School distinctive is its edge on the human side of business. The Marshall Goldsmith School is a new name for an academic institution with a distinguished history of innovation. It brings together the resources and programs of the California School of Organizational Studies, a pioneer in the fields of organizational psychology, consulting psychology and organizational development, and United States International University's College of Business, one of the first institutions to emphasize a global outlook on business. Together, these two institutions offer a unique set of resources devoted to innovation in management education.

Programs are offered in six cities in California and in Mexico City by three different divisions, each of which has specialized areas of expertise. These are the Division of Business and Management, the Division of Organizational Psychology, and the Division of International Studies. Our curriculum blends the strengths of psychology and organizational theory with financial and analytic skills to give students a unique and powerful set of tools to succeed in business, to work in nonprofit organizations, or to become consultants or entrepreneurs.

Accordingly, we seek to recruit and invite applications for faculty with cutting-edge and culturally relevant academic and/or practice-based experience. We are seeking applicants whose research and consulting interests complement and expand our existing strengths in international marketing. Individuals with a secondary interest in sustainable marketing, e-marketing, or forensic marketing are particularly encouraged to apply.

Requirements: Doctoral degree from an accredited institution; evidence of productive scholarship, teaching experience, ability to supervise quality dissertation research, and a strong commitment to international and multicultural competence.
