Summary:

The California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University offers APA-accredited doctoral programs (PsyD and PhD) in Clinical Psychology at five campuses in California, COAMFTE-accredited master’s and doctoral programs in Marital and Family Therapy at four campuses in California, a national postdoctoral master’s program in psychopharmacology, and international programs in Hong Kong, Japan and Mexico.

SAN FRANCISCO CAMPUS, DIRECTOR OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING. We invite applications for the position of Director of Professional Training to serve the San Francisco Clinical Psychology PsyD and PhD programs to start August, 2009. The Director position is a half-time position, with a joint half-time faculty appointment in CSPP’s PsyD program. The Director oversees the Office of Professional Training (OPT), which is responsible for the professional training program for CSPP-SF doctoral degrees in clinical psychology.  The Director of Training is responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing all aspects of the OPT program and ensuring that the policies and procedures pertaining to practicum and internship experience are fairly and equitably administered. This includes matching of students to practica/internship sites, advising and orienting students to placement sites, overseeing liaison to placement sites, and data collection to measure program outcomes and effectiveness.  As a faculty member of the PsyD program, the individual is expected to teach core courses as well as courses in his or her areas of expertise.  The Director of Professional Training reports to the PsyD and PhD Program Directors.
