Following its merger with United States International University in 2001 to become the CALIFORNIA SCHOOL OF PROFESSIONAL PSYCHOLOGY at ALLIANT INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, CSPP remains one of the country’s largest professional schools of psychology, offering APA-accredited doctoral programs across six locations in California. Our programs have trained close to half of the practicing clinical psychologists in California. Our institutional mission is to provide students with the highest quality of education through innovation in scholarship, applied training and research, and community service, particularly to underserved populations. Our goal is to equip students with the competencies they need to improve the quality of human life by addressing major contemporary social issues. Core competencies of our doctoral training programs include cultural diversity, which is infused in courses and field placements and is manifest in the diversity of our students and faculty.
