Summary: The International Studies Division (ISD) of the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management (MGSM) at Alliant International University wishes to hire a professor for August 2008. Rank is open and salary is commensurate to experience. The candidate’s first area of expertise should be in international relations. A specialization in comparative politics and/or public policy is also desirable. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate a regional expertise in one or more of these areas: Europe, Latin America, or the Middle East. The candidate must possess a PhD (or be very near completion). Since ISD is part of Alliant’s School of Management, demonstration of both interest and ability to engage in collaborative work with other faculty members across disciplines will also be considered. ISD has a Master of Arts program in International Relations (MAIR) and a Bachelor of Arts completion program in International Relations. While the candidate will be based at the San Diego campus, ISD has a presence at campuses in San Diego and Mexico City.
