Title: Admissions Processing Specialist

Department: Admissions Processing Center

Reports To: Systemwide Manager of the Admissions Processing Center

Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Summary:

The Admissions Processing Specialist, under the general direction of the Systemwide Manager of the Admissions Processing Center will possess strong data entry skills, demonstrate conscientious data and document organization, and provide exemplary customer service to our students and staff. 

 

The successful candidate will be dedicated to providing high quality service to all constituencies of Alliant University. S/he will exhibit the highest professional standards and ethical principles and will be committed to the tenets of Alliant University’s Mission and Vision.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Accurate data entry/document entry/file creation on applications received for assigned campuses.

 

  1. Document retrieval, tracking and inclusion involved with student file completion.

 

  1. Recording, tracking and depositing of student application fees.

 

  1. Transcript GPA calculation according to APC specifications

 

  1. File transmission of completed student files to appropriate campuses. 

 

  1. Customer service.

 

  1. Other duties as assigned.



Requirements:

Education:

 

HS Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience:

 

2 years data entry, 2 years customer service

Technical Skills:

50 WPM, Strong organizational skills

Technology Skills:

 

Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs; Working knowledge of CARs

preferred. 

Other Requirements:

 

Teamwork oriented, flexible, and maintaining a positive attitude.
