Title: Field Training Liaison

Department: Field Training - CFS

Reports To: Dr. Beneventi

Hours: Flexible

Summary:

The Field Training Liaison, under the general direction of the Field Training Director for The Center for Forensic Studies, will be responsible for helping to expand and improve the field training experiences available for students.  This person will advise students as they progress through their practicum and internship placements and will act as the primary liaison to the sites. 

 

The successful candidate will be dedicated to providing high quality service to all constituencies of Alliant University. S/he will exhibit the highest professional standards and ethical principles and will be committed to the tenets of Alliant University’s Mission and Vision.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Advise students seeking practicum and internship placements.
  2. Act as the primary liaison to training sites.
  3. Insure the quality of the training through frequent communication and yearly site visits. 
  4. Insure proper documentation in regard to contracts, evaluations, and academic credit.
  5. Meet monthly with Field Training Director and other Field Training Faculty to resolve problems related to sites and/or students.
  6. Work to expand the number and quality of field training placements available to students.
