Alliant's Vision

Alliant is the "Professional Practice University." (C) We prepare students for professions in the applied social sciences. As a community of scholars and practitioners, our faculty and students are committed to making an impact in society, and on producing results that make a difference in the lives of individuals, families, schools, organizations and businesses and nations.

We have always applied scholarship to solve social problems. Drawing on the history of the institutions that joined to form Alliant International University, we continue to have a special concern for diversity and internationalism.

Vision Statement

Alliant International University will achieve international recognition and respect as a worldwide institution of higher education with a special focus on human relations, the applied behavioral, cognitive, and economic sciences, and the humanities.

Alliant International University, as a community of scholars and practitioners, engages students in a comprehensive, integrated, interdisciplinary, and cross-cultural approach to learning. Through their education at Alliant, graduates will be empowered with the knowledge and skills necessary to:

• Develop innovative solutions for pressing human problems,
• Communicate effectively in diverse settings,
• Utilize technology for extended learning,
• Work successfully with others to achieve organizational and social goals,
• Provide leadership for the common good,
