The Educational Effectiveness Review determines whether Alliant has met the Core Commitment to Educational Effectiveness – whether Alliant
“evidences clear and appropriate educational objectives and design and the institution and program level, and employs processes of review, including the collection and use of data, that assure delivery of programs and learner accomplishments at a level of performance appropriate or the degree or certificate awarded.”
Alliant selected four Themes for the accreditation review process. In preparation for the Educational Effectiveness Review, Alliant has committed to conduct research into an area of educational or general institutional effectiveness relating to each Theme in order to improve student learning or organizational operations. This work will be completed between June 2007 and the Educational Effectiveness Review Visit in October 2010.

The Alliant Council for Institutional Effectiveness (ACIE) and the Four Theme Teams will work with Schools/Centers and faculty to conduct this research.
