Message from the Dean

Welcome to San Diego Law School!

We are proud of our commitment to diversity in our student body. We know that our students make the decision to study law, often at great personal sacrifice. They come seeking to fulfill a desire to pursue a career in the law or perhaps, as an enhancement to their established business or occupation.

As with every graduate program, law school is time-intensive and demands the mastering of new skills. We intentionally have an inclusive, supportive culture at San Diego Law School so that our students can excel and graduate to successful careers in law. Students who began their legal education at another law school, have often found that our more personalized, tutorial approach to teaching law, extended over our four year part time program is more accommodating to their needs. San Diego Law School is entering into a tradition of eminent graduates and friends who volunteer their time and effort to mentor students who request special assistance.

Our faculty is comprised of practicing attorneys and judges who bring both expertise and practical experience to their courses. We use the casebook method in our curriculum to focus attention on issue identification, legal analysis and reasoning.

We invite you to make an appointment to get a first-hand idea of what it is like to be a law student at San Diego Law School.
