A Program to Fit Your Career, Your Goals, Your Schedule
Whether you're a newly minted college graduate who is interested in classroom teaching, a mid-career administrator interested in refining your skills, or a career changer interested in doing something more meaningful than your current job allows, the Graduate School of Education at Alliant has a program that will meet your needs. Because we know that one size does not fit all, we have created a broad range of degree programs that meet a broad range of educational needs, learning styles, and personal schedules.
At the Graduate School of Education, our goal is to train professionals who will make a difference in the lives of countless others through teaching, counseling, leadership, advocacy, administration, management, or community work.
Our Ingredients: Research, Technology, Multicultural Content
We designed our School Psychology, Teacher Education, TESOL and Educational Leadership programs from the ground up, making sure that the real-world needs of students -- and the latest research findings -- are central to the curricula in each program.
GSOE infuses its curricula with multicultural content and emphasizes student achievement, instructional technology, assessment, neuropsychology, mentoring of diverse populations, and comprehensive community service.
At the core of our professional practitioner model, we have created a cohort structure. Your cohort -- fellow students who will be learning along with you under close and collegial faculty supervision -- will support your learning while you're in your degree program and beyond. Thanks to the cohort model, you will be building a professional support system of colleagues who will assist you throughout your career while you're enrolled in the Graduate School of Education at Alliant.
