Get Involved: Volunteer

Alliant welcomes Alumni involvement as volunteers assisting students both in-school and after graduation. Whether you are a recent graduate looking to build upon connections you have made as a student, a seasoned alumnus seeking old friends or new professional colleagues, or someone who wants to give back by finding new ways to continue your relationship with the University, you will find that volunteering opens windows of opportunity. Alliant offers several alumni volunteer options.

Volunteer for a Dissertation Committee

If you are interested in volunteering to be part of a dissertation committee, please contact either your school's Alumni Office (CSPP only) or the Program Director for the appropriate doctoral program.

Volunteer to be a speaker at an Alliant event/conference

Contact our Alliant Marketing Department to volunteer as a speaker for an Alliant open house or other event.

Offer Reduced-Fee Psychotherapy Sessions to current CSPP students

This is a great opportunity for our licensed CSPP alumni. Click here to fill out an online form to indicate your interest.

Volunteer to mentor a student

Contact your school's Alumni Office (CSPP only) or the Program Director for the area of study for which you wish to mentor students.

Volunteer your organization to be an internship site for a student

Employers wishing to offer Alliant students internships and professional practice opportunities should contact the Office of Professional Training (CSPP, CSFS) or the Program Director for the appropriate area.

Speak to prospective students

You can assist us by identifying potential students for Alliant's masters, doctoral and continuing education programs. This can be done by working with your company to distribute information about our programs, networking within professional organizations of which you are a member, and/or speaking about partnership opportunities to foundations and corporations that you know. You can also volunteer to speak to prospective students who want to learn more about a specific program.
