¡Welcome, Bienvenidos! The California Clinic, associated with the California School of Professional Psychology, is an Alliant Counseling and Dialogue Center. It is conveniently and centrally located in the Zona Rosa in Mexico City. The center is on Alliant International University’s campus and affiliated with the Masters in Counseling Psychology program and the Mexican Mental Health Research Center. We offer high quality and affordable counseling services to children, individuals, couples and families. The clinic has a particular focus on providing services for those who currently face challenges finding access to competent mental health services.

Master’s level graduate students in the Counseling Psychology program provide clinical services under the direct supervision of program faculty and clinical supervisors. Services are available in both Spanish and English. Clinical approaches are based on a systemic perspective and looks at ways that problems make sense in the context of a person’s life and their relationships. Services offered include counseling for:

  • Grief and Loss
  • Communication Difficulties
  • Divorce
  • Stress
  • Parenting
  • Affairs
  • Pre-marital concerns
  • Post street violence or crime Trauma
  • Poverty or economic challenges
  • Remarriage and step families
  • Sexual concerns
  • Culture shock and acculturation
  • Eating Disorders
  • Loneliness
  • Supportive counseling for the stresses that accompany being gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender

Appointments

Confidential appointments can be made Monday through Friday from 9:30am until 7:00pm.

Fees

The initial consult is free. The standard fee is 400 pesos. Scholarships can be arranged with your therapist. Fees are paid at the end of each session. The Alliant Dialogue and Counseling Center is committed to making treatment affordable.
