ASM Scholarships

University degree is one of the most important investments you will ever make—and one of the largest. At ASM we know that the cost of education is a significant concern for our students and their families, and we are committed to help all qualified students find the funding they need.

ABOUT FINANCIAL AID

Financial aid is available to all students who meet need and eligibility requirements. Federal and supplemental loan programs are the primary source of financial aid for most ASM students. Alliant requires that students applying for financial aid complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) No additional application is necessary.

ASM SCHOLARSHIPS

The Alliant School of Management offers a variety of scholarships to help applicants finance their education. For complete financial aid information, please contact Financial Aid Office.

MERIT Scholarships
Annual Award: $3,000-$7,000

All Alliant School of Management applicants are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships during the admissions process. The MERIT scholarships are typically awarded to candidates with outstanding academic performance and/or leadership experience. The MERIT scholarships are awarded for the first year of studies only.

BITAP Scholarships
Annual Award: $1,000

Many companies provide financial assistance to employees who wish to continue their education. The BITAP (Business and Industry Tuition Assistance Program) provides an opportunity for employees to bridge the gap between the tuition cost and the annual company tuition benefit with an annual scholarship of up to $1,000 (not to exceed the cost of tuition).  To be eligible for the program, student must be employed fulltime by a local San Diego company that has a formal tuition reimbursement program for their employees. To apply, please submit an official letter from the company's Human Resources department, along with a copy of the formal tuition reimbursement program. Scholarships are awarded for one semester. Students are eligible to reapply each semester of their studies.

PHD Leadership Scholarships
Annual Award: $5,000 - $7,000

All PhD Leadership applicants are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships during the admissions process. The PhD Leadership Merit Scholarships are typically awarded to candidates with outstanding academic performance and/or leadership experience. The scholarships are awarded for the first year of studies only and range between $5,000 and $7,000 for the academic year.

MBA Direct Path Scholarships
Annual Award: $2,000

MBA Direct Path program welcomes undergraduate students with proven leadership potential and academic excellence - directly after completing their bachelors degree. If qualified for the program during your senior year, we will designate an academic advisor, with whom you will work closely to map out your study plan. MBA Direct Path Scholarships ($2,000 per academic year) are available for exceptional candidates with GPA of 3.5 and above.

Yellow Ribbon Scholarships
Annual Award: up to $8,250 for Undergrad; up to $9,660 for Grad

International Partnership Scholarships

The Alliant School of Management has formed several international partnerhips with universities in Europe and Asia. The partnerships provide students study abroad and double degree opportunities, depending on the program. Some of the partnerships offer special scholarships.
