Advisory Board

Dianne LawDianne Law - Vice President of Marketing for D&K Engineering and is responsible for the design and execution of the company's marketing strategy. Diane has a well-diversified background in the high-technology and services industry including technology consulting, manufacturing, large-scale server technology and workstations, mobility software, infrastructure and security solutions, PC-based communications and networking and business accounting and finance. Throughout her career, Diane has launched comprehensive and cohesive marketing strategies incorporating targeted messaging, marketing communications, online marketing and PR. Diane has held executive marketing positions at Fujitsu Consulting, Starfish Software (a subsidiary of Motorola), and Netigy Corporation (a Cisco backed consulting company). She also held marketing management positions with 3Com, Cisco, Silicon Graphics and NCR. Diane holds a Master of Business Administration degree, a Master of Science in Accounting degree and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree.

Jim BraileanJim Brailean, Ph.D, - Co-founder of PacketVideo and a pioneer in the field of multimedia. Inspired by a vision of powerful multimedia devices enabling new forms of mobile person-to-person communications, Dr. Brailean founded PacketVideo in 1998. Under Dr. Brailean's leadership, PacketVideo launched the world's first commercial end-to-end wireless mobile media delivery platform in 2000, and helped create a new industry for wireless multimedia communications. Now focused on software development for multimedia device innovation, PacketVideo has become a leading supplier of embedded multimedia solutions for mobile phone and consumer electronics industries. In 2007, Dr. Brailean received the Multimedia Entertainment Forum's Lifetime Achievement Award Forum for his contributions to the acceleration of the development and adoption of mobile multimedia services worldwide. In January of 2013 after 14.5 years of leading PacketVideo and shipping more than 700 million pieces of software worldwide, Dr. Brailean stepped down as CEO to pursue other interests. Prior to co-founding PacketVideo in 1998, Brailean was a principal staff engineer within Motorola Corporate Research and Development Laboratories in Chicago where he managed the Advanced Video Algorithm Group, responsible for the design and development of advanced video compression and imaging algorithms. He was also a communication system engineer for Hughes Aircraft Company, Space and Communications Group. Dr. Brailean has served on several public and private company boards including DivX (NASDAQ DIVX), Sonic Solutions (SNIC), NextWave (NASDAQ WAVE), Wireless On-ramp, Perseus Wireless, Nik Software and Micropower Technologies. Dr. Brailean also served on both AT&T's and Verizon Wireless' Application Developer Advisory Boards from 2007 to 2010. From 2000 to 2004, Dr. Brailean served on the advisory board of DOCOMO Labs USA.

As a native from Switzerland, Simon speaks German and English.

Ashish MehtaAshish Mehta - Ash Mehta is an entrepreneur & Chief Executive with 13 years of Global business management experience. He has managed multiple businesses in Healthcare IT, Business consulting and Technology space. Mr. Mehta is currently CEO of Patient Click. PatientClick (www.patientclick.com) is an easy to use web based electronic health record (EHR) system that saves physician offices time and money while improving patient care and staff efficiency. It is Meaningful use (stage 1) certified Software as a service solution, which offers physician offices automation solution, clinical documentation capabilities with ability to ePrescribe and send orders directly to labs.

Ted St MartinTed St. Martin, CPA, MBA - Mr. St. Martin is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Dart NeuroScience, LLC, a private biotech company developing innovative drugs to improve memory and other areas of cognition. Ted brings more than 15 years of leadership in the life science industry and has served numerous biotechnology and life science organizations with mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, new product commercialization and private equity financings. Mr. St. Martin began his career as an auditor for Ernst & Young where he served both public and private companies. He received a B.S. in accounting from Purdue University, an executive MBA from San Diego State University and an executive Certificate in the Business of Life Sciences from Indiana University Kelly School of Business. He is a certified public accountant with the State of California and a member of Financial Executives International.

Carmen Di PadovaCarmen Di Padova - Carmen's career has revolved around helping professional services firms grow their revenue. He has spent time in marketing and business development roles with lawyers at the Law Practice Management Section of the American Bar Association. He has helped grow revenue at the world's largest CPA/consulting firm Arthur Andersen, at its home office in Chicago and at other big 8 CPA firms as well as regional firms. Having relocated to San Diego more than 12 years ago, Carmen has extensive business contacts within the San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles areas. His volunteer activities include a seat on the Board of the Cal State University San Marcos Business School, and chairing the MBA mentoring program at the University of San Diego. Carmen holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and an MBA from De Paul University.
