Alliant International University Ranked Among Top for Veterans by "Military Times Edge" Magazine

San Diego, CA: Alliant has once again been recognized as one of the top military friendly schools in the nation - the highest ranking private not-for profit in all of California and one of only two in San Diego - this time, by Military Times EDGE (MTE) magazine on their Best for Vets: Colleges 2010 list. This follows an award received from G.I. Jobs magazine last month, recognizing Alliant as being a Top Military Friendly School for 2011.

Best for Vets Colleges The 2010 "Best for Vets" list includes more than 4,000 accredited colleges and universities invited by MTE to submit information about their programs, policies, and resources. Schools were assessed on four criteria: financial assistance, academic flexibility, campus culture, and support services that help veterans make the transition from military to college life.

Tina Moncada, Director of Military Veterans Affairs and former U.S. Air Force Veteran 1975-1985, has been working hard to make Alliant a top choice for military, veterans and their families. "As evidenced by our rankings, we're making significant strides towards our goal" adds Moncada.
