His area of specialization is management accounting and performance measurement. Dr. White has over 25 years of teaching experience both full-time and as an adjunct. At Alliant, Dr. White is a member of the Faculty Senate, and is Lead Faculty for the SAP program.
Prior to teaching full time he was a CFO and General Manager for several publically traded companies. He has owned his own business and professional consulting practice. He was a Senior Manager in the consulting group of KPMG specializing in integrated production and managerial accounting control systems. While there he provided expert witness testimony to the Ninth Federal District Court and was responsible for the development of a radiographic weld control system for a major oil pipeline.
Dr. White is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois, an MBA from Northwestern University and a DBA in Accounting from Argosy University.
