Dr. Angela Browne-Miller is author of over fifty books including: FOR KNOWING NO HURT NO HARM--Hidden, Subtle, and Obvious Aspects of Intimate and Other Partner Abuse, Violence, and Terror; and TRANSCENDING ADDICTION (2nd Edition). Dr. Browne-Miller is also the Set Editor of the four volume INTERNATIONAL COLLECTION ON ADDICTION and the four volume VIOLENCE AND ABUSE IN SOCIETY set. She is Director, Browne & Associates Expert Witness, Expert Consulting, Training, and Treatment Services; Director, METAXIS INSTITUTE For Personal, Social and Systems Change; Founder, ADDICTION STOPPERS. She has been keynote speaker at conferences around the world on intelligence and learning, learning technologies, performance, workplace issues, behavior change, aging, women, drug and non-drug addictions, violence, abuse, relationships, and the workings of the human brain and consciousness. She earned two doctorates and two masters degrees at the University of California Berkeley where she lectured in three departments for fourteen years; served as National Institute of Mental Health Postdoctoral Fellow, US Department of Public Health Fellow. "Dr. Angela" (as she is also known) has worked with hundreds of organizations on a range of policy, program, and clinical issues.
